There was a great north swell that came through a little over a week ago, and since then conditions have been variable. Swell directions have been mixed up, but there are still chest to head high sets if you are patient. The Latin Pro Surf Contest finished today with a Peruvian winning the championship. Carnival has drawn to a close and the flood of people that invaded Montanita have begun to trickle away. It was mayhem in the streets downtown, but a bit more easy going out at the point where La Casa Del Sol is.
