There was a great north swell that came through a little over a week ago, and since then conditions have been variable. Swell directions have been mixed up, but there are still chest to head high sets if you are patient.
The Latin Pro Surf Contest finished today with a Peruvian winning the championship.
We had a bombing north swell come through a few weeks ago and scored epic San Mateo.
Then after a few small days a big south hit.
Montanita was dredging off the reef at low tide and pushing through nicely at high tide.
