The swell has dropped a bit, it is waist high on the sets and glassy and sunny.
There are a couple of people on the point in montanita, but uncrowded waves can be found all around.
It is a good day to get out there and get wet and get tan.
A fish would be a good board for today as every South American surfer is anxiously anticipating the swell which may or may not arrive.
